Our association PHP Foundations is an initiative to support educational projects for children and young people in Sri Lanka. We are actively committed to reconciliation and peace between the former civil war parties. We actively promote the development of more than 3,000 children at more than 50 educational locations in Sri Lanka through lessons in addition to state educational offerings, as well as through sporting events and children’s festivals.
Thanks to your continued support, we have succeeded in enabling many people to improve their situation. At this point we will share with you the stories of the people in Sri Lanka and inform you about the current focus of our reconciliation work in Sri Lanka. We are very pleased that many young people have already found jobs thanks to the further training they have received. Filling the Lanka Learning Center with life and further expanding it, parallel to our existing activities, is currently our biggest challenge.
PHP Foundations supports destitute and needy children and young people in Sri Lanka so that they too have access to education and thus gives them hope and a chance for the future.
The association pursues its goals in a non-partisan and religiously neutral manner.
By promoting intercultural and interreligious communication, the association contributes to forgiveness and sustainable peace in Sri Lanka.
